Bank balance for a South Korea student visa
About USD 20,000, but sources conflict. Reported Study in Korea asks for proof of financial ability without giving an amount. A Nepali consultancy's 2026 checklist says USD 20,000, and USD 10,000 to 20,000 for some D-4 language students. Ask the Korean Embassy in Kathmandu. (kiec.edu.np, checked 2026-11-08)

In May 2025 Nepal halted some NOCs for Korea, and the Supreme Court then issued an interim order against the halt. We could not confirm the position today, so ask the ministry. (ekantipur.com, checked 2026-11-08)
