About this site
Nepal Consultancy Check is a free site for students and parents in Nepal. It works out the real cost of studying abroad, checks colleges against official lists, and explains the rules with sources.
We are not an education consultancy. We do not counsel, place students or collect student details. There are no forms on this site. We do not rank firms or recommend one.

Where the list comes from, and how we check
- The ministry published the renewed list for fiscal year 2082/83 in its notice of 3 Bhadra 2082 (moest.gov.np, checked 2026-11-07).
- The official PDF would not download for us. The names come from a copy published by Darta Nepal (dartanepal.com, checked 2026-11-07). It has 760 rows, which matches the count in press reports (thepienews.com, checked 2026-11-07).
- We do not change names. We sort firms into areas and services by reading the address and service columns with a simple program, so some may be sorted wrongly.
- 20 rows have no usable address. Some approval numbers appear twice. We show this as it is and do not guess.
- Every fact in the guides links to where we read it, with the date we checked.
How we mark figures
- Official: read on a government page.
- Reported: read in news or a guide, because the official page refused us or gave no figure. Check these before you rely on them.
- Example: a number to show the arithmetic. Replace it with your own.
What this site cannot tell you
- Who holds a licence today. The list is for a year that has ended, and firms must apply again under the 2083 regulation.
- Whether a firm is good. Listed does not mean good.
- Whether a missing firm is bad. Not being found proves nothing. It could be spelling, a licence from a province, or a renewal record disrupted last year (thepienews.com, checked 2026-11-07).
