Bank balance for a Japan student visa
No fixed public amount. Example We found no official amount for Japan. The school and the Immigration Services Agency decide what your sponsor must show, so ask the school in writing. The figure below is only a planning number: one year of tuition and living.

We could not read the Japanese Embassy's visa fee, because its page refused our request. Ask the embassy, and add it under other costs.
